I have nothing against the Book of Mormon
-- and if it helps you, then you were probably a core Mormon in a
previous lifetime THAT YOUR SOUL-SELF LIVED (see http://SoulSelf.org
). And thus, you are attracted and even attached to this writing.
The greater problem is seen in the fact that few of the Mormon's
understand the Book of Mormon, because they lack the sacred manna that
is presented in the web sites associated with this forum (see Master Index).
If one could just read the Book of Mormon -- the Torah -- or the
Gospels, and discern either the true meaning, or the deep things of the
spirit, then Joseph Smith never would have said in utter frustration
about his own core group of followers: "There
has been great difficulty in getting anything into the heads of this
generation. It has been like splitting hemlock knots with a corn-dodger
for a wedge, and a pumpkin for a beetle. Even the saints are slow to
understand. I have tried for a number of years to get the minds of the
saints prepared to receive the things of God; but we frequently see some
of them, after suffering all they have for the work of God,WILL FLY TO PIECES LIKE GLASS as soon as anything comes that is CONTRARY TO THEIR TRADITIONS: they
cannot stand the fire at all. How many will be able to abide a
celestial law, and go through and receive their exaltation, I am unable
to say, as many are called, but few are chosen." (DHC 6:183-185). If
reading the Book of Mormon would be able to resolve the great void in
man's understanding, then the above words never would have been spoken.
Whether you want to portray this world in the analogy of Plato's Cave -- or the "outer darkness" of mind and being (see Outer Darkness)
as is done in the Gospels -- the problem is not only that mankind does
not understand the true reality of what he thinks he sees -- but that he
is imprisoned by his own blindness. And unless you first come to
terms with this inherent and endemic condition of mind that equally
afflicts all of mankind, it will make no difference whether you read the
Book of Mormon, the Torah, The Gospels, the Qu'an, the Baghavad
Gita -- and for that matter, neither will it make any difference if you
read all the books in all the libraries of the world. Why? The
universal objective that spans all religions, all philosophies, all
systems of learning, is the Universal Message of achieving the Gospel
objective of what is portrayed in the Gospels as Getting In The House with the Lord -- and being taught by the Teacher that is the Source of all True Knowledge (see The True Prophet). You are already a member of the Nazirene Library -- and if you go to the Message screen ( http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NazireneLibrary/messages ) -- and do a search on Joseph Smith or Brigham Young
-- you will find a multitude of posts on esoteric Mormonism. These
posts are the result of the many Mormon's who have come here -- many of
which in an attempt to prove me wrong. And of all the Mormons I have
interacted with, only one woman was able to perceive that the Book of
Mormon has an esoteric spiritual meaning that the vast majority of
Mormons remain totally blind to. But, that woman had an inner body
spiritual experience, and the Being of Light
sent her to me -- even though she knew nothing about me. And you have
no doubt been guided here in order to learn to apply the Key of Knowledge
-- and begin to open your mind to the body of esoteric knowledge of the
Cosmology of Mind -- so you can begin to receive the Sacred Divine
Manna that can only be imparted to the few that Joseph Smith makes
reference to in the above.
In
the words of Joseph Smith, you have been presented with the importance
of embracing the esoteric knowledge that is responsible for organic
man's inability to comprehend both the spiritual meaning of the world's
holy books, as well as the reality of life itself, and predictably you
very much appear to "...FLY TO PIECES LIKE GLASS as soon as anything comes that is CONTRARY TO [YOUR] TRADITIONS" that
you have embraced. And while you want to promote the Book of Mormon,
you evade the fact that the Mormons fail to understand the spiritual
meaning of the Book of Mormon.
My position is presented in The Essene Gospel of Peace where it is written:
And Jesus himself sat down in their midst and said: "I tell you truly, none can be happy, except he do the Law."
And the others answered: "We all do the laws of Moses, our lawgiver, even as they are written in the holy scriptures."
And Jesus
answered: "Seek not the law in your scriptures, for the law is life,
whereas the scripture is dead. I tell you truly, Moses received not his
laws from God in writing, but through the living word. The law is living
word of living God to living prophets for living men... God wrote not
the laws in the pages of books, but in your heart and in your spirit...
But you shut your eyes that you may not see, and you shut your ears
that you may not hear. I tell you truly, that the scripture is the work
of man, but life and all its hosts are the work of our God. Wherefore do
you not listen to the words of God which are written in His works? And
wherefore do you study the dead scriptures which are the work of the
hands of men?"
"How may
we read the laws of God elsewhere than in the scriptures? Where are they
written? Read them to us from there where you see them, for we know
nothing else but the scriptures which we have inherited from our
forefathers. Tell us the laws of which you speak, that hearing them we
may be healed and justified."
Jesus
said: "You do not understand the words of life, because you are in
death. Darkness darkens your eyes and your ears are stopped with
deafness. For I tell you, it profits you not at all that you pore over
dead scriptures if by your deeds you deny him who has given you the
scriptures.
I tell you
truly, God and his laws are not in that which you do. They are not in
gluttony and in wine-bibbing, neither in riotous living, nor in
lustfulness, nor in seeking after riches, nor yet in hatred of your
enemies. For all these things are far from the true God and from his
angels. But all these things come from the kingdom of darkness and the
lord of all evils. And all these things do you carry in yourselves; and
so the word and the power of God enter not into you, because all manner
of evil and all manner of abominations have their dwelling in your body
and your spirit. If you will that the living God's word and his power
may enter you, defile not your body and your spirit; for the body is the
temple of the spirit, and the spirit is the temple of God. Purify,
therefore, the temple, that the Lord of the temple may dwell therein and
occupy a place that is worthy of him.
Once you begin to learn the Cosmology of Mind
-- the allegorical reality of all that you think and imagine you see in
this world -- and begin to apply the knowledge in the purification and
construct of the Holy Temple of your own body and mind (see The Final Temple) -- you will begin to deepen and evolve your perception and understanding -- gaining access Into The House with
the Lord -- and having accomplished this transformation of self, all
the mysteries of life will become revealed to you. The very essence of
the New Covenant that Joseph Smith said the Church corrupted and threw
away, is in the words: "...God wrote not the laws in the pages of books, but in your heart and in your spirit.." And those who dwell what Jesus portrayed as "outside" the House, in the reality of the words: "But
you shut your eyes that you may not see, and you shut your ears that
you may not hear. I tell you truly, that the scripture is the work of
man, but life and all its hosts are the work of our God. Wherefore do
you not listen to the words of God which are written in His works? And
wherefore do you study the dead scriptures which are the work of the
hands of men?" Thus, my
objective which is the same as the Original Gospel Message, is to bring
about that transformation that enables the seeker/disciple the ability
to escape this world which is portrayed as the Far Country -- entering Into The House with
the Lord -- and therein being nourished by the Divine Manna of the
Kingdom that is not (and cannot) be written in any book by the hand of
man -- and is inconceivable to the mind or carnal man who remains a
slave to the Citizen of the Far Country or god of this world (see Mystery Of The Gospel).
What is missing in the above quotation from the Essene Gospel of Peace after the ... is this: "In
everything that is life is the law written. You find it in the grass,
in the tree, in the river, in the mountain, in the birds of heaven, in
the fishes of the sea; but seek it chiefly in yourselves. For I tell you
truly, all living things are nearer to God than the scripture which is
without life. God so made life and all living things that they might by
the everlasting word teach the laws of the true God to man."
And in my writings I portray this reality as the Language of the Soul
with which all of Nature is written in, and composed in the manner of a
Divine Orchestra. In the Gospel of Thomas this reality is portrayed in the words: "Recognize what is in your sight, and that which is hidden from you will become plain to you".
That the whole of this world is a shadow-world as portrayed in the analogy of Plato's Cave
-- and that because of the holograpic reality of Creation, if a person
comes to understand the Language of the Soul and the fact that this
world is a allegorical portrayal of mind impressed into the forms of
Nature -- only then can one come to understand the above words that "...God so made life and all living things that they might by the everlasting word teach the laws of the true God to man."
Laws that are allegorically portrayed in the world's holy books,
allegorically impressed into the forms of Nature, that few men possess
the eyes to see or the mind to comprehend. And while I have no problem
with the Book of Mormon, so long as organic blindness remains, it is
just another complication in
the illusions of this world that have the effect of enslaving mankind
in this, the Far Country. Perhaps I would assess this differently if
there existed a body of Mormons who had overcome and prevailed over
their condition of inherent human organic blindness, but since Mormonism
even from its beginning was more of a Mystery Religion that in typical
Mason fashion required initiations and membership in the secret order,
then I would in no manner promote another holy book that not only are
the people blind to the true meaning of -- but that the Mormons
themselves would in their ignorant blindness, reject what I write. At
the present time, the Latter Day Saints are too busy undermining their
own spiritual essence, by striving to be seen as mainstream Christians
by another name. The more mainstream they become, the more spiritually
disenfranchised and blind they make themselves. I write about
Universal Truths -- the Cosmology of Mind and Being -- the Laws and
Forces of Mind that pervades all the religions and philosophies of
mankind since the beginning of the world to its Completion in the Omega
-- and I therefore have to alliance to
any of the religions or orders of this world that all dwell under the
cloud of organic blind ignorance. And while a genuine spiritual
Mormon would and should have an advantage over mainstream Christians
(see Is Mormonism A Cult? Or Is One Cult Condemning Another Cult? -- see also other Blog Articles On Mormonism) -- without understanding what they see as portrayed in the words "Recognize what is in your sight, and that which is hidden from you will become plain to you"
If you want to begin to understand the spiritual meaning that few possess, then you are welcome to come here and learn,
